Please be advised that the Samuel Beckett Bridge will close to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic at the following times:
Monday 5th September 2016 21:00 hours until 06:00 hours (Quarterly maintenance)Tuesday 6th September 2016 21:00 hours until 06:00 hours (Quarterly maintenance)Saturday 17th September 2016 14:00 hours until 16:30 hours (CAI Parade of Sail)Sunday 9th October 2016 15:00 hours until 17:00 hours (Vendée Globe Around the World Race)Monday 10th October 2016 20:00 hours until 22:00 hours (Vendée Globe Around the World Race)Thursday 20th October 2016 00:30 hours until 02:30 (Jeanie Johnston maintenance)Tuesday 1st November 2016 21:00 hours until 22:00 hours (Fortnightly operational check)Monday 14th November 2016 21:00 hours until 06:00 hours (Half yearly maintenance)Tuesday 15th November 2016 21:00 hours until 06:00 hours (Half yearly maintenance)Wednesday 16th November 2016 22:00 hours until 06:00 hours (Half yearly maintenance)Tuesday 29th November 2016 21:00 hours until 22:00 hours (Fortnightly operational check)- Tuesday 13th December 2016 21:00 hours until 22:00 hours (Fortnightly operational check)
Notes:
- Actual opening time is subject to approval by the Director of Traffic and the Gardaí, and will depend on local events in the area.
- The scheduled dates will change if the bridge is opened to shipping traffic during the fortnightly operational checks.
- Strikethrough entries above indicates the maintenance is complete.
